So, to celebrate the holiday season, we created a campaign around avoiding family drama at all costs and instead embracing the Visible single line lifestyle. To kick things off, we created a commercial that shows family drama in all its glory.
Then, we fabricated an oh-so cathartic experience to accompany our commercial. Here, guests could literally “shatter the family drama” in a home-for-the-holidays themed room where you could (you guessed it) smash anything in sight. Smashable props included stockings with embroidered questions like, “Why aren’t you married yet?” and ornaments with blood-boiling quips like, “Your generation has it so easy” and “Why can’t you be more like your brother?”.
To get our followers on the anti-family drama fun, we also created a custom Visible Holiday Hotline, where celebrity influencers like Bachelorette alum Mike Johnson, comedian Matt Bellassai, and TV personality Gizelle Bryant helped people solve their holiday family drama in real time. Our Certified Anti-Drama Experts™—a very real fake title we made up—were standing by to offer custom advice. To participate, followers just needed to send over their familial gripes using the hashtag #NoVisibleDrama for a chance to score custom advice and a Drama Relief Kit. Our kits which included zen-inducing items like noise canceling headphones, cocktail sets and event a plush ‘No Drama Llama’, all laddering up to the larger campaign promoting that with Visible, you can save on wireless without being part of a traditional family plan.
