It all started with an insight: as the brand that makes the best of beauty accessible to every eye, lip, and face, we knew makeup was a powerful tool to bring two people closer together. But how much closer? Would makeup have the power to heal a blemished relationship? We decided to find out. And with that, e.l.f. Beauty’s award-winning content series “Make Up Over Makeup” was born.

We scoured the internet for celebrity talent pairings who were on the outs. The first episode starred TikTok creators turned exes Chris Olsen and Ian Paget. Episode 2 starred Vanderpump Rules frenemies Katie Maloney and Scheana Shay, Episode 3 featured breakout “Love Is Blind'“ stars and exes Chelsea Blackwell and Jimmy Presnell.
