Donate a Photo - Johnson & Johnson
Donate a Photo at Global Citizen Festival 2016
Donate a Photo takes photos from you camera roll and, for one photo, Johnson & Johnson will donate $1 to the charity of your choice.
As a main sponsor of the 2016 Global Citizen Festival, Johnson & Johnson needed an engaging way to introduce the app and to the thousands of forward-thinking people in attendance.
Taking photos of interactive street art is incredibly popular with Millennials on social media.
To draw people in, we teamed up with Kelsey Montague, an internationally acclaimed street artist best known for her #WhatLiftsYou murals. Using imagery inspired by Nyumbani Village, one of many great causes in Donate a Photo, Kelsey created an art piece that doubled as a photo backdrop for the event.
Both beautiful and inspirational, the mural became a destination for concertgoers, who posed for photos, downloaded the app, and learned about Donate a Photo’s causes and nonprofit partners.
Photo donations to Nyumbani were up by 126%, overall photo donations increased 60%, and social mentions were 68%. The lift from Global Citizen helped propel the app to hit the 2 million photo donation milestone in early 2017.
