Facebook Food For Thought Summit 2018
Today, it’s easy to get overwhelmed or confused by all the social media tools out there. That’s why for Facebook’s annual Food For Thought Summit, we created an experiential lunch where our brand manager guests could roll up their sleeves and get acquainted with Facebook’s newest products and offerings firsthand.
The experiential lunch was our chance to flex Facebook’s latest offerings and show how IG Stories and Messenger can provide practical value and personalization to a brand’s social media strategy.
How we brought it to life:
Custom Messenger chatbot
Trending menu
BA’s on hand as a resource
Innovative demo from influencer @mister_krisp
Content capture moments through food styling
Signage prompts
Selffee custom coffee station

Messenger Chatbot
Instead of just telling how Messenger can give a personalized touch to brand communications, we had guests experience it for themselves. Our chatbot gathered attendees’ food preferences before the event. We used this intel to give a personalized touch to the food experience by recommending a color-coded a buffet station based on their answers. Later, to keep the conversation going, we had a second chatbot quiz where we matched guests with foodie influencers.

IG Stories
By creating an environment designed for sharing, we encouraged people to use IG Stories features like Boomerang and Rewind. Our space will give guests an easy and creative way to implement the knowledge they learned at the summit, and the tools they needed to execute it well.
